Odin Official

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 1, 2026

Odin Official LLC (“Odin Official”, “we”, “us”) builds websites, software, and AI systems, provides cybersecurity services, and hosts websites for clients. This policy covers odinofficial.dev, our client billing pages, and the information we handle while working with you. Questions go to josh@odinofficial.dev.

The short version

This site has no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking cookies. We collect what you send us and what we need to do the work and get paid. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.

Because we do not track visitors across sites, browser “Do Not Track” signals change nothing here.

What we collect

  • Messages you send us. The contact form on this site opens your own email app. We receive whatever you choose to send: usually your name, email address, business name, and a description of your project.
  • Client information. When you hire us, we keep contact details, billing details, project files, and any access you grant us to accounts or systems so we can do the work.
  • Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Card and bank details go directly to Stripe. We see the payment status, the amount, the last four digits of a card, and your billing address, but never the full card or account number. Stripe handles that data under its own privacy policy.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, records standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We use it for security and to keep the site running.

How we use it

  • To reply to you and scope your project.
  • To build, host, secure, and support what you hired us for.
  • To send invoices, collect payment, and keep accounting and tax records.
  • To protect our systems and our clients' systems from abuse and attacks.
  • To meet legal obligations.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run the business, and only what they need: Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting, and our email provider for correspondence. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. If Odin Official is ever sold or merged, client records would move with the business under this same policy.

Sites we host for clients

When we build or host a website for a client, information that site collects from its own visitors belongs to that client. We handle it on the client's behalf and only as needed to run and secure the site. The client's own privacy policy governs it.

How long we keep it

Inquiry emails are kept as long as the conversation is useful. Client and billing records are kept for as long as you are a client and then for up to seven years, which is how long tax and accounting rules can require. Access you granted us to your systems is removed when the work ends.

Security

Security is part of what we sell, and we hold our own systems to the same standard: limited access, strong authentication, and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will tell you promptly.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email josh@odinofficial.dev and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some records, such as invoices, where the law requires it. California residents have these rights under California law, and we extend them to everyone. We will not treat you differently for using them.

Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Clients will hear from us directly about any significant change.
