Odin Official

About

Built to a defense-grade standard.

Odin Official started with a simple observation: most software projects fail for human reasons. Deadlines drift, updates go quiet, scope swells until nobody remembers the original idea. We run every project so those things don't happen.

Josh Rowe, founder

Josh spent six years in defense and cybersecurity contracting before starting Odin Official, including at Booz Allen Hamilton, supporting government clients and international partners. In that world a missed deadline or a quiet failure is not an option, and the habits that prevent them get drilled until they're permanent. He holds a TS/SCI clearance.

He writes the software, designs the circuit boards, and does the security work himself. When you hire Odin Official, the person on your call is the person building it.

What that looks like in practice

  • Security-first architecture, so nothing has to be bolted on after launch.
  • A process that reports its own status: a working demo every week from week one.
  • Documentation your next engineer will thank you for.
  • You own the code, the domain, and every account when the work is paid for.

What we build for ourselves

Loci is our own booking and operations platform for salon franchises, live with paying clients. The rest of the lab is where we prove tools on our own time before they reach a client project:

  • Odin Light, an automotive lighting controller designed from the copper up: a four-layer board around an ESP32-S3 that reads the vehicle's CAN bus.
  • Murmur, local dictation with no cloud round-trip, open source on GitHub.
  • Ghost Trade, a crypto research system that tested a strategy across 9,984 rolling windows. It fired once, and we publish that.

Where we are

Odin Official LLC is based in Hot Springs, Montana, and works with clients anywhere in the United States, fully remote. See what we do for websites, apps and AI and security.

Bring us the idea. Leave with a plan.

Every project starts with a free 30-minute call with the engineer who would build it.
