PeptideLab: one codebase, a web app and a phone app.

PeptideLab is a research toolkit for people working with peptides: a dosing calculator, 134 audited monographs with evidence grades, an AI research advisor, vendor price comparison and personal protocol tracking. Odin Official built it and ships it as a web app and an Android app from the same code, with iOS in progress.

What problem does PeptideLab solve?

Dosing maths is error-prone, the reference material is scattered across forums, and vendor pricing changes weekly. PeptideLab puts the calculator, the library, the prices and a research advisor in one place, on the phone where people actually use it.

What did we build?

  • A dosing calculator and a library of 134 audited monographs, each with an evidence grade.
  • An AI research advisor streaming answers from Anthropic models, with a fast path that answers about 35% of questions without a model call at all.
  • Vendor price comparison and personal protocol tracking: dose logs, vial inventory, progress.
  • Accounts, subscriptions on the web through Stripe and in-app purchases on Android through RevenueCat.

How does one codebase ship to web and phones?

The front end is React with Vite, wrapped in Capacitor for the Android build, so a feature lands on the web and in the app from the same pull request. The API is Express with Drizzle on Postgres, deployed on Railway, with the web app on Firebase Hosting and continuous integration on GitHub Actions. 43 database tables and a Playwright baseline suite as of October 2026.

What does this mean for your app?

If your business needs a web app and a phone app, you do not need two teams or two codebases. See apps and AI for how a build runs.
